The Igbos are one of the largest single ethnicities in Africa, most Igbo speakers are based in Southeast Nigeria, where they constitute more than 18% of the population; they can also be found in significant numbers in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. The Igbo people live within the eastern banks of Nigeria. Their population is about 20 million.
